DAN began with the craft of Dario “Dan” Mandatori and a family of artisans. Rome is more than an address: it shapes the taste, wit and freedom running through every collection.

Artisan roots
Dan grew up close to tailoring: his mother worked for the Fontana sisters and his grandfather was an ecclesiastical tailor. From them came respect for construction and the belief that elegance must belong to the person.

Recognition for a craft
Over time Dan’s work received awards and honours, including the title Cavaliere della Repubblica Italiana.

Today Dan’s experience continues with Barbara, Gianmarco and the team: the same care, new tools and an open view of the world.
